A Black Love Affair is Coming to Stockton!

Stockton, CA The Delta Iota Iota Chapter, an unincorporated association of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., proudly announces its 4th Annual “A Black Love Affair”—an elegant evening of dinner, dancing, and cultural celebration—on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM at the Hilton Stockton (2323 Canal Blvd., Stockton, CA).

Held on the 14th day of Black History Month and just one day after Black Love Day (February 13), this signature event brings a first-of-its-kind celebration of Black Love to Stockton for the fourth year.
The phrase “Black Love” has long symbolized unity, resilience, and self-determination. Today, it resonates louder than ever. 

The evening will honor and uplift love for one another, love for our community, and love of our culture—ultimately affirming self-love. Guests will enjoy expressions of culture through attire, song, dance, music, and art, while also commemorating the richness of Black History Month.

Beyond the celebration, the night carries a purpose: proceeds will benefit the chapter’s scholarship fund, mentoring program, and community projects.

“A Black Love Affair is more than an event—it’s a movement of love, unity, and purpose,” said a spokesperson for Delta Iota Iota Chapter. “We’re excited to celebrate with the community while supporting initiatives that strengthen our future.”

This annual celebration is made possible by the support of the community, the brotherhood of Omega Psi Phi, friends, and families.

OMEGA International High School Essay Contest

Greetings from the Delta Iota Iota Chapter, an unincorporated association of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. 

We are excited to invite high school seniors to participate in the Omega Psi Phi International High School Essay Contest. Here are the details:

• Eligibility: Open to all college-bound high school seniors who      submit their essay application through a local chapter of the Fraternity,      specifically the Delta Iota Iota  Chapter in Stockton, CA.
• Contest Start Date: September 1, 2025
• Submission      Deadline: October 31, 2025, by 11:59 p.m.

2025 Essay Title:

"In a World Powered by Artificial Intelligence, What Does It Mean to Lead with Integrity and Purpose.”

Scholarship Awards from the International Headquarters

• 1st Place: $5,000
• 2nd Place: $3,000
• 3rd Place: $2,000
• 4th Place: $1,000

An additional $250 will be awarded to the local winner.

Submission Process: All submissions will be reviewed by your Local Chapter (determined by your high school/home address). Submissions will not be accepted after October 31, 2025.
